I had the incredible luck of being in Liverpool when Now and Then was released, and the atmosphere in the city was something truly special. I listened to the song for the first time inside The Beatles Story museum, and it couldn’t have been a more meaningful place for that moment. The track itself is deeply emotional — hearing John’s voice in such clear quality gave me chills, especially when it blended with Paul’s. I absolutely loved the arrangement: the string section was beautifully done, the solo in tribute to George was amazing, and the harmonies brought everything together.
